Who it fits
Good fit for
You should choose this washer if you live in a dorm or small apartment with limited laundry facilities. The 3.5-liter capacity suits single users or couples washing delicate items like underwear, silk, or activewear. Its wall-mount design frees up floor space, making it ideal for bathrooms or closets. The 48-decibel noise level ensures it won’t disturb sleep in shared rooms. If you need a quick, gentle cycle for a few items, this compact unit fits your routine.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need to wash large loads or bulky items like comforters. The 3.5-liter capacity is too small for families or heavy laundry days. This unit is a washer-dryer combo, but it may not replace a full-size machine for deep cleaning heavily soiled clothes. If you prefer physical knobs over a touchscreen interface, this model may not suit your preference. It is also not designed for high-volume commercial use.
Verdict: This wall-mounted washer offers a quiet, space-saving solution for small households. Its compact 3.5-liter drum and gentle care modes make it practical for delicate loads in apartments or dorms.
Key specs explained
Capacity: 3.5 L
This volume holds a small load of laundry. It suits single users or couples washing underwear and socks. You cannot wash bulky items like comforters in this space. Compare this to standard machines that hold 10 kg or more. Use this for frequent, small loads rather than bulk weekly washing.
Tub Material: Stainless steel
The drum is made of metal, not plastic. This material resists rust and corrosion from constant water exposure. It provides a smoother surface that is easier to clean. Plastic drums can harbor bacteria or degrade over time. Choose stainless steel for durability and hygiene in a compact washing environment.
Wash Programs: 4
The unit offers four distinct cleaning cycles. These likely cover different fabric types or soil levels. You can select a gentle mode for delicate items and a stronger one for everyday clothes. Fewer programs mean simpler operation. Compare this to basic models with only two settings for maximum versatility within a small footprint.
Operation Type: Washer and dryer combo
This machine cleans and dries clothes in one unit. You do not need a separate dryer appliance. This saves significant floor space in small apartments or dorms. The cycle takes longer than washing alone, but it completes the entire laundry process. Ideal for spaces where ventilation is limited or equipment is scarce.
Design and Build Details
The listing describes this unit as a desktop or wall-mounted appliance, measuring 12.6 by 13.4 by 15 inches. The drum is made of stainless steel. This material choice helps resist rust and corrosion in humid environments like bathrooms or small apartments. The compact footprint allows you to place it on a counter or attach it to a wall. You do not need to dedicate a full laundry room floor space. The wall-mount option saves valuable square footage in dorms or tiny studios.
According to the listing, the controls are managed via a smart touchscreen. You see an LCD display that shows progress and settings. This layout keeps buttons out of the way, reducing the chance of accidental changes. The one-touch interface simplifies the process for delicate fabrics. You can select from four specialized wash modes. This variety lets you adjust the cycle for silk, activewear, or stubborn stains without complex programming.
The design prioritizes space efficiency. The stainless steel drum is sealed within a compact housing. You can install the inlet and drain hoses for water supply and removal. The package includes mounting accessories for wall installation. This setup means you can position the washer at a comfortable height. You avoid bending over to load or unload clothes. The finish is described as one color. This neutral look blends into various decor styles in bedrooms, balconies, or closets. The physical build supports its role as a supplemental washer for small loads.
Setup and everyday use
The SXQYCH 3.5L Wall-Mounted Washer offers flexible installation options to suit your living space. You can mount it on a wall to save floor space, or place it on a countertop for easier access. The listing includes an inlet hose, drain hose, and mounting accessories, allowing for a quick, tool-free setup. This adaptability makes it suitable for apartments, dorms, or small bathrooms where space is limited.
Daily operation is managed via an intelligent LCD touchscreen. You can monitor progress and adjust settings without leaving the room. The unit operates at just 48 decibels, which is quiet enough to run in a bedroom or closet without disruption. You have four specialized wash programs to choose from, allowing you to tailor cycles to specific fabric types, from delicate silks to activewear.
The machine functions as a washer and dryer combo. It claims to clean and dry clothes in approximately 4.5 hours. This all-in-one process eliminates the need to transfer wet laundry to a separate dryer. The AI-powered system adjusts water levels based on load size and fabric type, aiming to optimize energy and water use. You simply select your mode, start the cycle, and wait. The stainless steel drum provides a durable interior for gentle care of delicate items. This setup is designed for users who need a compact, efficient laundry solution without complex installation or lengthy wait times.
Before You Buy This Washer
Owning this compact unit requires a few practical considerations. You must ensure your wall can support the weight if you choose the wall-mount option. The listing includes mounting accessories, but you need to verify your wall type and tools. For countertop use, confirm the surface is level and sturdy enough to handle the spin cycle vibration. Since it operates as a washer and dryer combo, you will need a nearby power outlet and access to both cold water input and a drain for the exhaust. The 48-decibel noise level is low, but placing it in a closet or bathroom requires adequate ventilation to manage humidity from the drying function. Regularly check the inlet and drain hoses for kinks or wear to prevent leaks. This model fits best among the 1 portable washers for those prioritizing space-saving over large capacity. It suits users who wash small, frequent loads rather than bulk items. Keep the stainless steel drum clean to maintain hygiene. This appliance complements larger machines by handling delicates and intimates separately.
Check before you buy

- Confirm access to both water inlet and drain hose.
