Specifications side by side

Winado Portable Washer Models Compared

Winado offers two fully automatic portable washers that differ mainly in capacity and physical footprint. The 30-pound model features a light grey finish and measures 20.9 inches wide by 36.4 inches high. It weighs 60.5 pounds and includes a drain pump. This unit suits families or RV owners who need high capacity and automated cycles without manual draining. The 17.6-pound black model is slightly more compact. It stands 33.7 inches tall and includes ten wash programs. This smaller unit fits apartments and camping setups where space is limited. Both units prioritize hands-free operation. You should choose based on your laundry volume and available floor space. The larger machine handles bulkier loads, while the smaller one fits tighter quarters.

Where Winado Fits Your Laundry Needs

Winado’s range covers compact to high-capacity portable washing. You can choose between a 17.6-pound model in black or a larger 30-pound unit in light grey. Both are fully automatic top-loaders with built-in drain pumps. The smaller option suits apartments and RVs, while the larger one handles heavier loads for families. Neither model offers a front-load design or color variations beyond black and grey. If you need a semi-automatic machine or a dryer, this brand does not currently list those options. You must decide if the available capacities meet your weekly laundry volume.

How to choose the right portable washer

1. Check the capacity needs

You should match the washer size to your household size. The 30-pound model handles larger loads, making it ideal for families or RV owners who need to wash more clothes at once. The 17.6-pound unit is smaller, which suits renters or couples. Consider how many loads you do per week. If you wash bulky items like blankets, the larger capacity is necessary. If you only wash everyday clothes, the smaller model may suffice. Choose the size that fits your actual laundry volume.

2. Verify the drain pump

Both models include a built-in drain pump, which is a key feature for portable units. This allows you to pump out water rather than lifting and tipping the machine. This is essential for apartments or RVs where floor drains are not available. You can drain into a sink or bathtub easily. Without a pump, you would need to manually remove water, which is difficult. Ensure the pump is present if you cannot connect the washer directly to a floor drain. It adds significant convenience.

3. Measure your space

Dimensions vary between models, so measure your laundry area carefully. The 30-pound unit is taller at 36.4 inches, while the 17.6-pound model is 33.7 inches high. Both are roughly 20 inches wide. Check your closet or bathroom clearance. The larger model also weighs 60.5 pounds, so ensure your floor can support it. The smaller model is lighter and easier to move. Always leave space for ventilation and door opening. Accurate measurements prevent fitting issues later.

4. Consider the operation type

Both Winado models are fully automatic. This means you do not need to switch between wash and spin cycles manually. The machine handles the process for you. This is ideal for users who want hands-free laundry. You simply load clothes, add detergent, and start the cycle. Fully automatic units are generally more convenient than semi-automatic ones. They save time and effort. If you prefer minimal interaction with the machine, both options work well for your needs.

5. Look at wash programs

The 17.6-pound model offers ten distinct wash programs. This gives you flexibility for different fabric types. You can select specific cycles for delicate items or heavy soils. The 30-pound model also provides automated cycles. More programs allow for better care of your clothes. Check the number of options if you wash various materials. This feature enhances the machine's versatility. It ensures you can clean different types of laundry effectively without guesswork.
