Nictemaw 2.4 Cu.ft. Portable Washing Machine Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How these picks compare

Nictemaw 17.8 lbs Portable Washer

This model shares the 17.8 lbs capacity and grey color of the original, but its dimensions are slightly wider at 18.9 inches. The stainless steel drum and automatic drainage pump remain core features for apartment use. You gain a specific model number, 5573-5-GREY, which may offer different internal cycle logic. The trade-off is a larger footprint. If your space allows for nearly two inches of extra width, this unit provides the same automated washing experience. It suits those who need reliable drainage but have a bit more floor space than the tightest corners allow. The weight is not specified here, but the build feels substantial for a portable unit.

Anypro 17.8 lbs Portable Washer

The Anypro 17.8 lbs washer matches the original in capacity and fully automatic operation. It also includes ten wash programs and a drain pump, making it a direct functional competitor. The key difference is its physical size. It is wider at 19.7 inches and deeper at 19.9 inches. This makes it less suitable for very narrow spaces compared to the original’s 18-inch width. However, it offers a similar program variety for small apartments or dorms. You get the same grey finish and automatic cycle management. Choose this if you prioritize the specific Anypro control interface over the Nictemaw’s dimensions. It provides identical capacity with a slightly bulkier external profile.

Nictemaw 17.8 lbs Portable Washer, Grey

This Nictemaw variant keeps the 17.8 lbs capacity and automatic cycles but differs in its model designation. The dimensions are nearly identical to the original, measuring 18.5 inches wide and 33 inches high. It retains the stainless steel drum and grey color. The primary distinction is the specific model identifier, AMB005584_1%#%, which may indicate a slight revision in internal components or control panel layout. It offers the same flexible drainage options. This pick is for users who want the exact footprint of the original but prefer a different model iteration. It provides the same quiet operation and program versatility. The choice comes down to availability and specific feature preferences within the same size class.

Nictemaw 17.8 lbs Portable Washer

This model is functionally identical to the original in many ways. It offers 17.8 lbs of capacity, fully automatic operation, and a drain pump. The dimensions match the original closely at 18.5 inches wide. The main difference lies in the model number, 5584, versus the original’s 5584_1. This suggests a minor variation in packaging or minor component updates. It provides the same compact design suitable for apartments. You get the same grey color and automatic cycle management. This pick is ideal if you need the exact same performance profile but find this specific model variant more available. It maintains the balance of capacity and size without significant changes to the user experience.

COSTWAY 26 lb Grey Twin Tub Washer

The COSTWAY twin tub washer diverges significantly from the original. It offers a larger 26 lbs capacity, which is useful for bulky items like blankets. However, it uses a twin-tub design rather than a single automatic drum. This means you must manually transfer clothes between the wash and spin tubs. It includes a drain pump and timer controls, giving you more manual oversight. The unit is wider at 26.5 inches, requiring more floor space. Choose this if you prefer speed and manual control over fully automated cycles. It suits users who want to wash and spin simultaneously. The trade-off is the loss of hands-free operation and a larger physical footprint.

Anypro 17.8 lb Portable Washer

This Anypro 17.8 lbs washer matches the original in capacity and automatic operation. It also features ten wash programs and a drain pump. The notable difference is its silver color, offering a different aesthetic for your space. The dimensions are larger, at 19.7 inches wide and 19.9 inches deep. This makes it less compact than the original. It provides the same fully automatic cycle management and stainless steel drum durability. Pick this if you prefer the silver finish and do not mind the extra width. It offers identical program variety and capacity. The choice depends on your space constraints and color preference. It delivers the same automated performance with a slightly larger external design.
