Looking Beyond the DUMOS 7.7 lbs Compact Washer? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How Each Alternative Compares

Giantex 8.8lb 2-in-1 Portable Washer

The Giantex 8.8 lb model adds a drain pump, solving the gravity drainage limitation of the DUMOS unit. This allows flexible placement without strict height constraints. It offers 10 wash programs and a stainless steel tub, matching the DUMOS features. The footprint is slightly wider at 18.5 inches and taller at 31 inches. You gain drainage convenience but accept a larger physical presence. This unit suits renters who need to drain water into a sink or bucket easily. It is a practical upgrade for those who cannot position the machine near a floor drain. The capacity is marginally higher at 8.8 lbs, handling slightly heavier loads than the 7.7 lb DUMOS.

Anypro 17.8 lbs Portable Washer

The Anypro 17.8 lb washer doubles the capacity of the DUMOS machine. It includes a drain pump, removing the need for gravity drainage. You get 10 wash programs and a stainless steel drum, similar to the DUMOS. However, the dimensions are significantly larger, measuring 19.7 inches wide and 33.7 inches tall. This unit is heavier and takes up more floor space. It is ideal for small families or RVs needing to wash bulky items like bedding. The added capacity comes at the cost of portability and compactness. If you prioritize load size over a small footprint, this is the better choice. It fits apartments where space allows for a larger appliance.

F.W.WOOLWORTHS 17.7 lbs Portable Washer

The F.W.WOOLWORTHS 17.7 lb washer offers high capacity and a built-in drain pump. It features 10 wash programs and an LED display, providing digital control unlike the DUMOS dial interface. The dimensions are 20 inches wide and 34 inches tall, making it the largest on this list. It is designed for busy households that need to wash large loads quickly. The drain pump allows for versatile placement options. You gain convenience and capacity but sacrifice the compact size of the DUMOS. This model is best for families or users who do not have space constraints. It is a robust solution for those who need to wash more clothes at once without manual draining.

COSTWAY 12 lbs Full-Automatic Washer

The COSTWAY 12 lb washer provides a middle ground in capacity between the DUMOS and the larger models. It includes 10 wash programs and an LED display for easy cycle selection. The unit measures 19 inches wide and 33.5 inches tall, which is wider and taller than the DUMOS. It is suited for RVs or apartments where space permits a larger footprint. The increased capacity allows for washing bulkier items like towels or jeans. You trade the ultra-compact 17-inch width of the DUMOS for more washing power. This model is ideal for users who need more than 7.7 lbs of capacity but do not require the maximum 17+ lb options. It offers a balanced approach to portable laundry.

Winfire 17 lbs Portable Washer

The Winfire 17 lb portable washer provides substantial capacity with a stainless steel drum. It offers 10 wash programs for various fabric types. The dimensions are 15 inches wide and 26.6 inches tall, making it narrower than the DUMOS but shorter. This compact width allows it to fit into tight corners despite the high capacity. It is designed for large households or RV living where space is limited. The smaller footprint is a key advantage over other high-capacity models. You get significant washing power in a narrow frame. This unit is best for users who need to wash large loads but have narrow entryways or tight spaces. It prioritizes load size and narrow dimensions over overall height.

Anypro 17.8 lb Portable Washer

The Anypro 17.8 lb silver model matches the capacity and features of the grey version but in a different color. It includes 10 wash programs and a stainless steel drum. The dimensions are 19.7 inches wide and 33.7 inches tall, similar to the other large Anypro unit. It offers automatic cycle adjustments for convenience. The drain pump is included, ensuring easy water removal. This model is ideal for small families or RVs where aesthetics and function matter. You get the same high capacity and drainage benefits as the other large options. The silver finish may suit certain decor styles better than the grey DUMOS. It is a strong alternative for those needing automatic features and high capacity in a portable unit.
